Vice Chairman of the Business Europe Social Affairs Committee, Confederation of Spanish Employers, Spain - Head for European Social Affairs in the Labour Relations Department of the Spanish Employers Organisation (CEOE) (since 1999). - Vice chairman of the Social Affairs Committee of Businesseurope (since 2007). - Member of the European Consultative Commission on Industrial Change (CCMI) (since 2006) - Member of the Advisory Committee of the European Monitor Center on Change (EMCC). Mr SUÁREZ SANTOS is in charge of the following tasks: Regular representation and defence of the Spanish Business’ points of view at social European Institutions and organisations (European Social Dialogue). Regular participation in different negotiation tables and working groups at the Spanish social dialogue providing comparative perspectives (among them, he participated in the recent negotiations to reform the Spanish labour market). Specific comparative research activities related to working conditions and regulations within the labour relations Department. Organisation of specific European meetings, debates, and conferences on labour relations and human resources issues. |
